Short answer

Representation under a foreign-issued power of attorney is possible if it is presented in a form accepted in Georgia and grants sufficient authority for the transaction. A Georgian translation alone does not always resolve international validity requirements.

Practical example

A document may authorise collection of bank records without permitting disposal of funds or sale of real estate.

What to do

Before sending it, check the wording with the receiving notary, bank or registry. Compare names, passport details, dates and property identifiers.

Points to consider

Authentication and translation requirements must be assessed for the issuing country and receiving institution.
