Removal depends on its basis, duration and the entitled person’s interest. A new owner’s dissatisfaction does not automatically terminate the burden. Check for an agreed termination ground, waiver or need for court resolution.

Practical example

A neighbour uses a registered route despite a new access road. This may be relevant, but the registry entry does not disappear by itself.

What to do

Obtain the establishing document and cadastral plan. Check continuing need and alternatives. Follow the required form and registration for an agreed termination; blocking access before resolution is risky.
