Participants may agree on rooms, shared spaces, keys and expenses. Without agreement, a fair management and use arrangement may be sought. Share size matters but does not automatically allocate rooms on a plan.

Practical example

Shares are equal but rooms differ in size. The arrangement must address the kitchen, bathroom and access as well as bedrooms.

What to do

Use the plan, existing living conditions and everyone’s interests, and record the arrangement in writing. It does not change ownership shares or itself create separate apartments.
