Co-ownership does not allow one participant to exclude another entirely at will. Each may use the property without prejudicing others. A valid agreement, court order or special legal ground must be considered separately.
Practical example
One owner changes the lock and refuses a key. Unequal shares alone do not create a right to exclude the other completely.
What to do
Document the access request and obstruction and obtain the extract and previous use agreement. Agree rooms, common areas and access. In a dispute, consider a formal use arrangement and removal of interference.
