Address registration alone is insufficient. A claim may, however, rest on inheritance, marital co-ownership or an old title document. Assess that basis rather than just the length of registration.
Practical example
A child is registered in their parents’ apartment. That does not mean they already own a share; possible inheritance arises at a different time and under different conditions.
What to do
Check the acquisition history, registry entry and documents supporting the claim. Utility payments may show residence but do not replace registration of ownership acquired by transaction.
