Distinguish technical inaccuracy from an ownership dispute. A name typo differs from an area overlapping another property. The registry needs an appropriate documentary basis for amendment.

Practical example

A surname is correct in the old agreement but one letter is wrong in the extract. A contradictory document or neighbour’s claim to the area is a different situation.

What to do

Compare ID, title agreement, cadastral plan and decision. Submit a precise request. If another person’s rights are involved, a correction application may not suffice; procedural rules require additional checking.
