Short answer

A transaction induced by deception may be challenged if it would not otherwise have been made. False information, concealment of information reasonably expected in good faith and causation matter. An unkept promise does not always prove initial deception.

Practical example

A seller deliberately conceals a material fact that would have stopped the buyer signing. Concealment and its importance must be proved.

What to do

Keep advertisements, correspondence, documents and discovery dates. Observe the special challenge period and notify the other party appropriately. Any criminal-law issue is separate from civil consequences.

Legal basis

Georgian Civil Code — Articles 81–84, 59. Checked on 28 October 2026. The outcome depends on the contract, facts and evidence.
