Divorce does not itself revoke a gift to a spouse. Revocation grounds and marital co-ownership are separate questions. Whose property was gifted, the document’s terms and whether the transaction was genuinely gratuitous all matter.
Practical example
A husband gifts his own apartment during marriage. Separation is not an automatic recovery condition without an independent lawful ground.

Collect acquisition and gift documents, marriage details and evidence of conditions. Distinguish gift recovery from a dispute over disposal of the other spouse’s co-owned property.
