A refund may follow agreement, lawful withdrawal or another appropriate ground. Changing your mind is not always enough. Assess seriousness of breach, termination procedure and performance already received. A legal claim does not guarantee the debtor’s solvency.

Construction has stopped for a long period. The buyer must assess whether to demand performance or withdraw and seek repayment.
What to do
Total the payments and make a written claim. Check any additional deadline, notice and repayment period. Before receiving funds, assess the consequences of termination and surrendering existing security.
