The acknowledgment should identify who received what sum from whom and when repayment is due. Merely stating a debt leaves uncertainty about its basis, deadline and repayments.
Practical example
Acknowledging receipt of GEL 5,000 as a loan on a specified day, repayable on a stated date, is clearer than an undated figure and signature.

Identify parties, amount in figures and words, currency, payment method, deadline and signature. Specify interest and schedule separately. Establish authenticity and actual payment; observe special form requirements.
