Acquiring immovable property by transaction requires a written agreement and Public Registry registration in the buyer’s name. Signing, payment and receiving keys are different events. Each matters, but none replaces registration.
Practical example
A buyer has paid in full and moved in, but the apartment remains registered to the seller. This is not the same as a completed registered acquisition.
What to check
Specify the filing deadline and required cooperation. After applying, check the result, any suspension reasons and the new extract. Set out handover and transfer of risk separately.
