Paying the price is a buyer’s core obligation. Failure to pay the balance may support performance, appropriate damages or withdrawal from the agreement, but the apartment does not automatically revert to the seller. The seriousness of the breach and agreed terms matter.
Practical example
The apartment is registered to the buyer, but the last instalment is overdue. A seller’s letter to the registry will not necessarily change ownership.
What to check
Confirm payments and the balance with bank statements. Serve a proper demand and assess the need for an additional deadline. Check security documents and the appropriate remedy before seeking the property or money.
