A residence permit for family reunification is issued to a family member of a foreigner who already has a residence permit in Georgia. For relatives of a Georgian citizen, other grounds may apply, so the status of the main person is checked first.
Basic documents

Foreign certificates
The marriage or birth certificate is verified by the country of issue: an apostille, legalization and proper translation may be required. First we determine the recognition route, then we order the translation.
